The Joanna Kunstmann Gallery put on its first exhibition in 1995 in a renovated town house in Santanyí, where it was managed successfully for over 10 years. This location at the East coast was finally abandoned in April 2006 in favour of new exhibition plans in Palma. In spring 2005, the gallery opened in new facilities in the old part of Palma, near the Es Baluard museum and in the midst of the new cultural centre of the town. In addition to planning and producing exhibition in a wider format and structuring each thematically, the gallery is now able to display more extreme styles. The gallery represents around 15 artists, which include painters, sculptors and photographers, and focuses on figurative representations. Once a year, it displays the works of up-and-coming young artists in a group exhibition. Address Gallery: Opening hours:
